Basic Scientology Services are introductory and basic services and Life Improvement courses, and there is no requirement to be a Scientologist in order to take such services.
Scientology is a religion, and through the application of Scientology teachings and practices many people have overcome problems in their lives and progressed on a path to spiritual enlightenment. However, Scientology is not presented as something to believe, but rather as something to do. Nothing in Scientology is true, unless it is true for you, according to your own observation and experiences. The teachings of Scientology cover many aspects of life, and were developed over many years by the Founder of Scientology, L. Ron Hubbard. Scientology contains the answers discovered by Mr. Hubbard to truly work in bringing about happiness, ability and spiritual enlightenment. But no promises or claims are made, since success depends upon one’s own willingness to learn and apply those teachings in one’s life.
No Scientology service is complete unless one is personally satisfied that one has achieved the result of the service. I will not start a new service unless I am completely satisfied with the prior service.
The Church reserves the right to refuse to admit any person onto any service, or to continue to provide any service.
Whilst taking any Basic Scientology Service I will ensure that I am well rested and well fed.
Contact information and records relating to services and items I purchase are kept and will be used to inform me about other services, events and items which may be of interest to me, as well as being kept and used to assist in the provision of services and the delivery of items to me and for bookkeeping purposes. Such information may be shared with other Churches for the same purposes, including in other countries. In accordance with data protection principles, by signing this agreement I am giving permission for such information to be kept and such transfers to be made. I have a right to ask the Church to cease informing me about other services, events or items which may be of interest to me at any time, to have access to these records and to ask the Church to rectify the same. I will participate in these services only if my physical and mental conditions are fit to do so. The services provided are not intended and are not used for diagnosing ailments of the body or for engaging in the teachings or practice of any medical arts or sciences.
I am applying of my own volition in good faith to derive all possible personal gain from the services, and am not taking them for any other purpose.
